Mr StreetCred wasn't born in a boardroom. It wasn't pitched to investors or focus-grouped. It came from the streets — from the hunger, the loyalty, the betrayal, and the survival. Every piece we make is a page in that story.
Where It Started
I started Mr StreetCred out of Gary, IN— not because it was the fashion capital of anything, but because it's where I'm from. And where you're from shapes everything about who you are and what you create.
Growing up, I learned early that the streets have their own code. Their own language. Their own scripture. You either lived it or you didn't. And the ones who lived it — who knew real hunger, who found out who was at the table when times were hard and who disappeared — those are the people I make clothes for.
Street Cred isn't something you buy. It's something you earn. Every scar, every sacrifice, every time you kept going when you had every reason to stop — that's your street cred. I wanted to build a brand that honored that. That wore it like a badge, not a wound.
The Street Bible Philosophy
Every collection we drop is scripture. Not the kind they hand you in church — the kind written in real life, in real time, by people who had to figure it out with no roadmap.
